Hi, I’m Angela.
I have always been passionate about helping people work towards optimal wellness by exploring their concerns and using a goal-directed approach. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ryerson University and a master’s degree in health from York University, where I specialized in women’s experiences with cancer and therapeutic yoga.
I am currently completing the Master’s in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University.
My interests in mental and physical health come together to help me understand the importance of creating life balance and practicing regular self-care.
For the past eight years, I have worked with youth, university students, athletes, new parents, and families. I look forward to working with you individually as you navigate stressful life experiences and transitions.
I am drawn to mindfulness-based techniques, cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused, and narrative therapies. Together, we will find the best fit for your needs.
I would love to work with you and be part of your journey towards your best self.
Hi, I’m Cate.
Psychotherapy is a second career for me, and one that I am incredibly passionate about. After spending 10 years in the television industry, I decided to follow my true passion for helping people. I was accepted to, and currently attend, the Master of Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University, and plan to register with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario to work as a psychotherapist in the future.
I am very interested in working with individuals who are contemplating a career transition or experiencing issues in the workplace. I am interested in relationship issues of all kinds, including dealing with break-ups, being single, dealing with overbearing family members, and more.
It is important for me to create a compassionate, empathetic and safe space, where clients can grow and develop their sense of self.
I have experience working with people of diverse ages and backgrounds and I love finding commonalities and ways to relate to people.
